It took me so long to do this because I'm a procrastinator and I never know what to say in these things….
Hey ya'll! The name's Erin. I'm from a small West Virginia town called St. Albans and speak in a slight southern accent, until I get riled up about something and then it's a thick southern accent. I'm a 2011 graduate of West Virginia University with a B.S in Journalism-Public Relations and a minor in Sports Communication. My four years as a student at WVU went entirely too fast, but were incredibly blessed. It's kind of cliche, but college is where I really found myself and definitely where I discovered the love of Christ. I guess you could say I've lived quite a crazy life. That's a story for a whole nother day.
Let's see…I love dance parties, especially to any 90s music. God's beauty is most evident to me on a sunshiney day watching the waves crash onto a beach…or really just a sunshiney day anywhere. One of my biggest passions is sports and if you get me going I can talk about them for hours (my fave teams are the WVU Mountaineers, the Green Bay Packers, and the Texas Rangers and if you ask me I'll tell you why). Feet are my biggest phobia, but never making a difference in the world is my biggest fear. My hidden talent is rapping (NOT freestyling); turn on some Lecrae and watch me tear it up. I prefer something made over something bought, lillies or tulips over roses, and creativity over the absolute. Chocolate always wins. Full-time missions is definitely a possibility for my future, but we'll see what God has up His sleeve. There's not a shy bone in my body. I'm really really awful at keeping up with new music becuase once I find something I like I'll listen to it on repeat until I get sick of it. Usually I'm a grammar freak, so it's kind of stressing me out how incorrect all this is as a single paragraph. One word to sum up my life and my walk with the Lord is redemption. "Love is the answer, at least for most of the questions in my heart like why are we here? And where do we go? And how come it's so hard?" Don't dare me, because I'll almost always do it. Anything is more adventurous if it's spontaneous, and that's the best way to do it! My style changes every day and my pink plaid chucks go with everything. I don't take many things too seriously; it's a blessing and a curse. Looking back, I'm blown away at how God always had His hand on my life even when I was looking to everything BUT Him.
