These are my Top 10 Most Entertaining Moments since arriving in India

10)  Riding 4 across in the back of a Tuk Tuk.

This is a tuk tuk and yes it goes around 40 miles an hour and weaves in and out of traffic like it is the size of an Escalade and not the size of a golf cart.

9)  Being stopped when walking through a gate and made to walk through a metal detector only to have the guards ignore the fact that every one of us set the metal detector off.

8)  Strapping our backpacks to the tops of taxis and praying nothing went flying off in traffic.

7)  Having a Tuk tuk get stuck when trying to pass the bus we were sitting on and then watching the bus driver, ticket taker and tuk tuk driver lift it up so it was no longer wedged and move it forward.

6)  Taking a shower in a bathroom where brushing my teeth, going to the bathroom and showering were possible all at the same time.

5)  Trying to board the public transportation bus in Bangalore while it was moving.

4)  Having the electrical outlets in our hostel covered by someone’s luggage stickers in order to keep the live wires from being seen.

3)  Michael and I riding in the back of a van/taxi sitting on subwoofers as the Indian driver cranked his very Indian music.  Good, good, good the good vibrations.

2)  Living on a honey sandwich, a bag of sour cream and onion potato chips, a bag of garlic baked rolls, a snickers, a twix, and a few oreos, and a bowl of granola for a 41 hour train trip.   Yep, nutrition 101.

My home sweet home (the top bunk) on the train where I spent about 38 hours over 2 days.

1)Getting in a fender bender and having our driver get out yell at the other person to move his car over and then continuing on as if we hadn’t just been involved in a car accident.
