I figured I was long overdue for an update you on my life.  I am currently in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia after a 20 hour train trip, 3 hour bus trip, a 7 hour wait and then a 7.5 hour train trip.  I am thankful for sleeper berths and air conditioning on both trains which made the long ride rather comfortable.  We had to laugh as the bus driver evidently really like Beyonce's song "Move Your Body" and it was on repeat play the first 30 minutes of our bus trip.  I thought it was going to end up being the longest trip of my life.  Thankfully, he finally moved onto other songs and only returned occasionally to Beyonce.
Kuala Lumpur is the capital city and is very, very nice.  My camera broke a few months ago and so this morning I took it to a Nikon store to get it fixed.  The mall I went to is about 10 floors high, has an amusement park in it and was a bit overwhelming.  It is our 4th straight months in or within spitting distance of a major city.  I think I'd rather be out in the middle of nowhere although I really did enjoy access to Dairy Queen last month when the heat index was over 100 most days.
Our contacts this month are a married couple (Sam and Grace) who are pastors of a church.  We will be doing house visits, hospital visits, worship in church, some teaching, and whatever else they ask us to do.
For the month, we are sleeping in the church office.  We have more space than last month, but less amenities.  This is the life on the world race and we enjoyed being spoiled last month with having things like a washer available.
It is crazy as my mother pointed out we only have 80 days left of The Race.  I am beginning to wonder where the time went, but I am excited for what God has for us this month.
