Looking over at my two partners in crime, I notice that
they’ve both been wearing the same clothes for the past four days… then I look
down and notice that I haven’t changed much in the past four days either.

We had the privilege this past week of traveling up into the
mountains surrounding Palenque
to check in with a few teams from the A squad and shoot some video of their
ministry.

Suffice to say- this was beyond roughing it for me. From being introduced to a new family of pigs
to laying hands on a mentally handicapped man to being abandoned in Santa Maria, we had a
blast.

Teams 61 and Salt made Youell, Tim, and myself official
extended family and allowed us to share life with them- everything from peanut
butter to team devos.

As we stumbled down the street back to our ‘home’ at El
Olivo church in Palenque,
I caught Telfer at first glance, sitting out in the yard reading the Word. His head lifted as a smile grew on his face;
he threw his arms up in the air and shouted a ‘WELCOME BACK!’ My freezing shower never felt so good.
