Ebenezer…Scrooge?  Nope.  God has been anything but stingy.  71% funded for the World Race.  Thankful…but still praying for other Squadmates provision today who are trying to meet deadline 3 for Launch.  That God would utterly amaze them and do only what He can do which is be AWESOME!

Samuel took a large stone and placed it between the towns of Mizpah and Jeshanah. He named it Ebenezer—"the stone of help"—for he said, "Up to this point the Lord has helped us!" —1 Samuel 7:12, NLT

New beginnings and great faithfulness.  I doubted I would ever really head overseas on an around the world mission trip.  As of June 14 I'm 70% funded for the World Race (serving 11 countries in 11 months)…and July 4 I start the process of "Launching" final preparations before heading out with my S Squad all 57ish of us in Atlanta, Georgia.  When I look back and think of how this process went, my wanderings in the wilderness, grumblings at times about provisions of "manna" and "quail", great miracles and surprises by donations and other needs met…God's hand upon this whole journey I am in complete awe and humbled.  And so with the number 70% I praise God, rejoice, and trust He will carry this on to completion.

Here I raise mine Ebenezer;
hither by thy help I'm come;
and I hope, by thy good pleasure,
safely to arrive at home.
Jesus sought me when a stranger,
wandering from the fold of God;
he, to rescue me from danger,
interposed his precious blood. —Come, Thou Fount of Every Blessing
