I originally posted this in November 2012…but I’ve had a gang of people subscribe lately so I thought ya’ll might find this entertaining to re-visit!
What was your favorite food as a child? Park Plaza Pizza (local pizza place) still is! Makes me think of sleep-over’s with my cousins.
What’s the #1 most played song on your iPod? Well, this girlie doesn’t have an iPod (as of 2013 this issue was resolved…a World Race must for “alone” time). I listen to country music a lot, folky/blue grassy music, I LOVE MUSIC in general and can listen to most genres.
What is one of your favorite quotes?

What’s your favorite indoor/outdoor activity?
Indoor: Reading, watching movies, playing with my niece, listening to tunes, designing promotional materials for ministries, SLEEPING, sipping Chai Tea, singing, BLOKUS, Phase 10, playing tug of war with “Spency” the dog.
Outdoors: Exploring, jumping in mud puddles, photography, swinging on swings, road trips which look a lot like getting lost with my trusty GPS Penelope’, Flea Markets, camping, watching sunsets.
What chore do you absolutely hate doing? Hmmm. Do I sound like a slob if I say ALL chores???
What is your favorite form of exercise? Zumba (when my ankle isn’t wimpy), Aqua Fitness, does Horseback riding count? Would really like to be more consistent in some form of exercise. Hopin’ to change this this year.
What is your favorite time of the day/day of the week/month of the year? Favorite time of day would be the moment you wake up in the morning when there isn’t a care in the world and your body doesn’t feel achy…especially if Micro-fiber sheets are involved. Day of the week…probably Friday because it means weekend and freedom from most responsibilities. Favorite month of the year…July or December because they both involve FIREWORKS…love me some fireworks! I absolutely love FALL and early spring when you still need to wear a sweater or hoodie.
What’s your least favorite mode of transportation? Can’t really think of any, I love to travel!
What sound do you love? Rain on a tin roof, crackling of a fire, waves crashing, neigh/whinny of a horse, ELK, coo of a baby.
If you could throw any kind of party, what would it be like and what would it be for? Something involving lots of kids at a camp…but it’d be more like an every day party where kids could just be kids and totally be loved on…and it would somehow end kids being orphaned or on the street.
If you could paint a picture of any scenery you’ve seen before, what would you paint? Probably a mix of the fog rolling off of Victory Peak at Sutton, AK, with a hint of hay bales as the sun begins to wake up driving through Nebraska, with a touch of Ironwood, MI waterfalls raging, zebras in South Africa, dragon boats in Taiwan, the landscape in Mexico that reminded me of the promise of Africa, the swamp in Canada, and Med Hill in Wild Rose, Wi…probably in finger paints!!!
If you could choose to stay a certain age forever, what age would it be? Hmmm…so would this be if I was going to become a vampire? I honestly am excited to age because it means I’m that much closer to spending eternity with Jesus…but I am a bit of a Peter Pan at heart…so I’d say 18 or 21.
If you knew the world was ending in 2012, what would you do differently? Sell everything I own and move to an orphanage somewhere. Make a bunch of creative billboards, commercials, etc telling people about Jesus.
If you could choose anyone, who would you pick as a mentor? Paul the Apostle hands down…but of course preferably Jesus.
If you could witness any event past, present, or future, what would it be? Someone recently had said getting to see Creation…and I would have to agree…that would be amazing!
If you could learn to do anything, what would it be? Fencing, be fluent in another language, vaulting on a horse, how to train a horse from start to finish, how to be an EMT.
If you had to only work on one project for the year, what would it be? Finding homes for ALL orphans throughout the world, and making sure everyone had food and water.
If you were immortal for a day, what would you do? Fight Tigers, bears, sharks, etc.
If you had to change your first name, what would you change it to? Beloved.
If you could meet anyone, living or dead, who would you meet? Aslan from Narnia.
If you won the lottery, what is the first thing you would do? Jump up and down!
If you could know the answer to any question, besides “What is the meaning of life?”, what would it be? When can I go home?
If you could be any fictional character, who would you choose? Dora the Explorer.
What celebrity do you get mistaken for? Probably not a celebrity…but I consistently think I have a twin or triplet out there… people always say I look like someone they know. WEIRD.
What do you what to be when you grow up? Director of a camp or an orphanage.
When you have 30 minutes of free time, how do you pass the time? Day Dreaming about foreign lands.
What would you name the autobiography of your life? “Life it’s what’s for dinner…you can’t eat life for dinner!”
What songs are included on the soundtrack of your life? You know those songs on movies where people are running in war movies…those kinda songs.
Have you ever had something happen to you that you thought was bad but it turned out to be the best? Absolutely…Many times…but one in particular would have to be the time my trip to Taiwan was delayed and God did some cool stuff with my parents’ marriage.
What was the movie, TV Show, or book that made you cry or tear up? Hole in the Gospel.
What’s the hardest thing you’ve ever done? Obstacle Course with Teen World Outreach 2000.
What was the last experience that made you stronger person? My current job.
What did you do growing up that got you in trouble? Grades on report cards.
When was the last time you had an amazing meal? Thanksgiving.
What was the best/worst gift you’ve ever given/received?
Best gift – Horse-drawn ride on a wagon when I was like 7 with my grandpa, a Nalgeen bottle full of rice and a bunch of random gifts from AK friends
What’s the best/worst gift you’ve ever given/received? I gave a guy friend a Barbie b-day once.
What do you miss most about being a kid? Naptime , and milk and cookies.
What is your first memory of being really excited? First time I went to Disney.
What was the first thing you bought with your own money? I honestly can’t remember!
When was the last time you were nervous? A big meeting where I had to talk in front of a group of people.
What is something you learned within the last week? We don’t have to make Jesus look attractive or flashy…He is who he is…and He is AWESOME!
What story does your family always tell about you? The time I came home from school excited to say that my teacher had 2 “crutches” but I used a different word instead.
At what age did you become an adult? I hope to become an adult at age 80.
What is the coolest place you’ve ever been to? Canoeing the Flambeau River we played Camo in this forest I swear was enchanted…it was just the coolest place ever right out of Narnia or LOTR.
What is one word you would use to describe yourself? Inventive.
If you knew you could not fail, what would you do? Travel the world in a single night while rescuing kids in unsafe places. That first part sounded a little Santa-like.
