Sometimes I need to be candid about the race…ok a lot of times. As a 30 something there are some things that still make me laugh…”fart trucks” are one of them. Imagine your having a really deep team time, conversation, or your trying to shout out directions and there it comes FFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFAAAAAAAARRRRRRRRRRRRRTTTTTTT. I’m sure a mechanic could better explain this…my guess is it has something to do with shifting or the breaks but the semi’s here make this crazy rumbling sound we’re not used to back in the states.
Other “funnies” this month involve the two cute flea-bitten puppies who tackled my tent to the ground…the tent stakes have never been the same since. This same tent who basically looked like it was melting due to heavy winds one of the days…ah yes…my tent. If I would “feedback” my tent we would be in definitely be in conflict with each other. Puddles, and being extra small…it seemed like a good idea at the time??? Tent and I will probably work things out but I may need to upgrade on one of our future team outings…sorry Tent…it’s not you it’s me…or is it???
Horses…those that know me know I LOVE horses. It’s hard not to giggle when your wake up to a baby colt nibbling on a teammates tent or noticing one of the three horses that roam the grounds left a “present” just a few yards from your tent. I’ve laughed A LOT this month…and I think that’s a good thing…a healing thing for sure.
