I have a GPS her name is Penelope…and my cars' name is Shikira (she used to be fast and shiny)…don't judge. Well Penelope is one of those old school GPS's where you CAN NOT update the maps…and so sometimes SHE still gets me lost…or uh…ok maybe I assist her in getting a bit lost along the way. Anywho…I often ask on road trips… ARE WE LOST???
Today we got a Squad Mail announcing our route change.
Our first country will now be Guatemala.
Guatemala…at one point there was the possibility of me going there for some training when Haiti was maybe gonna happen…and I had said NO WAY…not because it was Guatemala but because at the time it just wasn't Haiti no matter how you spelt it…so I giggle because God already knew back then I would say no way and He would so say ha ha I will be sending you there any way for 1 month. So I laugh…and I just know Guatemala is gonna be extra AWESOME because God said so!!!
We are NOT going to Costa Rica… oh shucks no freakin' out over some zip line or something cool like that… no campin' out on a super sweet beach….or ministering to some amazing folks. God has other plans.
So the countries we THINK we're going to are…Guatemala, Honduras, Nicaragua, Philippines, Thailand, Cambodia, India, Nepal, Uganda, Kenya, Rwanda.
I don't think we're lost quite yet…but we do have to find the correct shuttle to the hotel from the airport on July 4 with all our crazy gear…hee hee…THAT should be interesting.
