La Roca is a church that some boys from the ministry invited us to go to with them. La Roca stands for The Rock in English. On Saturday nights, La Roca has a young teens service.
- I have NEVER felt the Spirit so thick in a place before
- The music was loud, the dramas were tear filled, the prayer time at the front was healing
I prayed for a girl in a three-quartered sleeve light blue shirt, jeans, and her hair in a wet ponytail. I felt the Spirit run though my body, put of my hands onto this girl! OVERFLOW into her Lord!! The church was a big auditorium and we were sitting in the middle section, third row back. During the message, this girl moves from the right section, to the middle section first row, to the chair right in front of me. After the message people went up to the front that were in need of prayer. The same girl walked up to the front and my heart was beating fast. I went to pray for her. The words that flowed in my mind were strength, joy, a vision of a deeply rooted flower that was white with a yellow center. The colors were the brightest colors I have ever seen. I kept hearing deeply rooted in love. As I am praying Kevin (a boy from the ministry) walks up and begins to pray. After a little while her arms move from being crossed to being open hands ready to receive. Next Kylee (a girl on my team) walks up. The three of us are pouring out everything onto this girl.
After praying, I ask her what her name is and she tells me her name is Josie. Jason (a boy from ministry) walks up and tells me that Josie is Solidad's niece (Solidad is a women in the ministry.) the entire time we are praying and we are talking tears are streaming down Josie's face. I ask her if she wouldn't mind telling me what is weighing on her heart. She goes on to tell me a person she really admires has recently told her she isn't worth anything and that her dreams won't come true. She cries harder, as I grab her hands and also wipe away her tears. I tell Josie that no matter what anyone says that she needs to stand on the Rock, that when she feels weak that the Lord is strong, and remind her that is is clothed with strength and dignity. I remember how I felt walking into La Roca. I walked into a crowded auditorium, I see light blue. In the front, there is a girl dancing with two huge gold flags and about 20 others doing a choreographed routine on the sides. The girl in the center was no attraction for my eyes once I saw a beautiful girl dancing on the side in a light blue shirt. She had an exuberant joy in her eyes and it was BEAUTIFUL!! As her pale face starts to become red because she is crying so much, we embrace in a hug. A hug not of my own strength, a hug only the Father can give filled with love and strength.
