Can it bounce or does it just hit the ground with a big thud? Can just anybody make one?A steel ball is a sphere made up of many different elements that when welded together can be used for many different purposes. That is how I have felt the first month of my race. There were many days when I was bouncing for the Lord with immense joy. There were days when all I wanted to do was stay in my tent and be alone. I believe the Lord has been teaching me how to be joyous, how to rest, how He created me, and who I am as a daughter of the most high God. It has taken 22years for me to realize how it feels to be loved by the Lord. Lord, I thank you for loving me when I was unlovely. Not only how it feels, but to willingly receive it. It has taken me 22 years to know that it is ok to rest. Looking back on my first month on the race I felt like a steel ball. Emotions were up and down. I realized that like a steel ball, I am also made up of different elements and each one provides a different purpose in my life. The Lord is continually revealing the different elements that make up who I am.
Things I want you to ponder:
-Just because you have done something wrong does not make you disqualified to be used for the Kingdom of God. -Have you thanked the Lord for loving you when you were unlovely?
-You cannot lead someone to enjoy God the Father, if you don't enjoy God the Father.
-Push toward Him.
-Walk in obedience
-What are you doing with what God has blessed you with?
-If you are going to make disciples, you yourself have to be a disciple.
-Jesus is enough!
I thank you foremost God that you are a sending God. I thank you for breaking every chain through your substitutionary death on the cross. God I pray for your grace to carry me on when I stumble. Lord I thank you for continually teaching me things.
