Today, as I was sitting on the shore overlooking some of the bluest water I had ever laid eyes on, I started to become overwhelmed.

Photo: It's a beautiful world we live in.

I wasn’t overwhelmed by the beauty, although it was alluring.

I wasn’t overwhelmed by the serenity, although it was peaceful.

I wasn’t even overwhelmed by the frequent solicitors offering me the best price for a pair of sunglasses of back massage, although they were persistent.

I was overwhelmed that the God who created the masterpiece that was laid out in front of me, has CHOSEN me to do His work. Who am I that He has entrusted 45 people for me to love and speak life into? Who am I that I get to travel the world and represent His love to His people?

I can’t begin to explain the mysterious ways of our God. But I think that’s the point. He’s not meant to be explained in a bullet point list. He’s not meant to be put into a neat package and tied up. I’m learning more about Him everyday.

Today marks the third day of my squad leading venture. The other leaders and I are hanging out in Santo Domingo for the weekend and then heading out next week to be with the teams. I can’t wait to see what God has for me during these next five months. Thank you all who have been praying for me, it’s ALWAYS welcomed. Thank you to those who have financially supported me as well!

I am in need of about $5,000 to be fully funded for squad leading. Your prayers and financial support are a huge blessing to me and I pray that God blesses you through it! If you are interested in supporting me, click the “Support Me” link to the left! Thanks again!
