It’s All in the Details

I know
that many of you, my wonderful, faithful readers and supporters, have
been asking about some of the details of my trip like when I’m
leaving and where we’re going. So here you go-answers to your
questions and things to pray for.

September
4 is when it all begins.

I
will be meeting up with my squad, as well as the other three
September squads and their leaders, in Chicago, where we will have a
few more days of training before we all head out to our different
countries on September 8.

Pray
that the work God already started at training camp will continue as
almost 300 racers prepare to head out into the nations to preach the
gospel. Pray that the racers will transition well as they say
goodbye to the lives they’ve always lived and jump into this new
journey-that there would be no fear, anxiety, or second-guessing
and that they would be full of anticipation of what the Lord is going
to do.

The
first country we are heading to is the Dominican Republic, followed
by Haiti and Thailand. Of course, our route is always subject to
change, but that is the plan at the moment.

Pray
for safety as we travel. Pray for open hearts as we minister. Pray
that God’s kingdom would come on earth as it is in heaven in each of
these countries.

I’m
excited to announce that I am fully funded for this trip! Thank you
Jesus! And thank you to each person who has given so generously to
make it possible for me to go. I am grateful and humbled by how
supportive and giving so many people have been.

There
are quite a few people on my squad who are still raising money, so
please tell me if you still feel led to give, and I will let you know
how to make that happen.

Pray
that all the funding for each person on my squad would come in. Pray
against anxiety and worry, that instead each person would be filled
with faith and trust that God is providing for them.
