Hi.

Help.

Haha.

Well, first things first, I’m not the realest. My name is Erin Cramer and I haven’t the slightest idea on what best practices are for blogging. This is my first attempt at it, along with other factors of this adventure, and I can assure you, it won’t be pretty.

I don’t take myself too seriously, in fact, I don’t know that anyone does. For good reason. I come from a family of big love. The youngest of 4, and lover of a good laugh. Tony, Susan, Brooke, Alex, Jordan, and then there’s me. I adore them. Unfortunately, my sister Brooke passed away in 2002, which is a story for another time. Spoiler alert, she’s doing ok up there. To say we are all close is an understatement. Currently residing in Fort Worth, TX as an event sales coordinator of a large venue in Dallas. It wears me out, however, my co-workers…so good. I enjoy a good, long & focused run, phenomenal food, music that moves you, love stories, culture, and the list goes on.

The following happens to be the best picture ever surfaced as well as an accurate depiction of my brothers & I:

Down to brass taxes. Abba. The Man. My Heavenly Hand. Let’s just hope He walks me through all of this, as I’m not fond of exposing serious emotions and feelings to the general public in which it will remain forever. Mostly because those feelings can be misconstrued. However, He has brought me here, to this point, for a specific purpose. Join me in figuring out what that is.

3 objectives for the blog here, people :

  • Ultimately, my goal is to try to understand and know God more intimately every day. To live every day in obedience to Him. To honor Him. To glorify Him. To show Him. To capitalize on every opportunity and count it as a moment to remain faithful and treat a situation or person the way He would. The ultimate mission. Try is key here. Failing is sometimes eminent.
  • Secondly, I want to strive for authenticity, sincerity, and transparency at all times. I don’t want to say anything that I don’t mean or repeat what I have heard or read just because it sounds good. That’s all fine and well to extend and retell great stories, but if it isn’t mine to tell or I don’t fully understand where it came from, it’s best for me to refrain. I don’t want to waste anyone’s time by manipulating or falsely recounting phrases that become empty the moment they leave my mouth.
  • Lastly, I just want to have fun with it. I want to make people smile & laugh as much as I will be as I’m writing these. Take you with me. Help you see the world and see God at work in it. Give you a piece of the perspective. Get you outside of your comfort zone for the 5 minutes it takes to read these. Or 35 . To see how minuscule you are, but how needed your service. And hopefully, inspire you to faithfully mission in your daily grind right there in your community.

So let’s go, people. And let’s have a good time along the way.
