God is good!

Man. Fundraising. None of it would be a success without Him directing the right timing, place and people. I have grown so much through this process! That being said, this entry is also dedicated to saying a big THANK YOU to all of you who have taken part in supporting me!

Within the past 5 months, this is how you all have expressed your support:

  • PRAYER. Whether spoken over me, or on your own. Whether you have/haven’t ever previously met me. This is the BEST form of support.. and I don’t say that lightly. (If you like to keep a collection/list of people or things you pray for, PLEASE add me! 🙂
  • The opportunity to share my story & passion for missions
  • Encouraging feedback from you after I’ve shared what God’s doing in my life
  • buying Threads of Hope bracelets
  • The opportunity to sell Threads of Hope at different events
  •  online/check donations, whether one time or monthly (including 'anonymous' people, I don't know how to thank you so thank you!!)
  • cash/change handed to me in person
  • donated items for garage sale
  • $$ spent AT my garage sale!
  • Volunteers to help at events
  • ‘attending’ my events on Facebook, even if you can’t physically make it! (seriously)
  • Donated baskets for an upcoming raffle
  • Locations to host fundraising events

 
The list could go on. This is just to give you all an idea of how much you have helped me, and how it has meant so much!!

And now.. here are a couple fundraising results:

Garage sale on 11/3 – $400

$11ON11/11 Facebook Event – $1,104.72 (I mean, WOW)

As a result of your support, I have now met and SURPASSED the first deadline!

1st deadline: $3,500 (2 weeks prior to training camp)
2nd deadline: $6,500 (2 weeks prior to launch)
3rd deadline: $11,000 (End of 3 months on the field)
Final deadline: $15,000 (End of 6 months on the field)

THANK YOU to all who have made this possible!! I will be sending out personal ‘thank you's' very soon.

On that note, I am well on my way to the 2nd deadline! (I have a little over $4,500).
