Saying yes to the Lord was one of the easiest yet hardest things I have ever done. I have had this trip on my heart since April of 2018, I just couldn’t find the route that I felt called too. Some people say “if you’re waiting it might never come” but none of the other routes just felt right. In Mark 16:15 it says “He said to them, ‘Go into all the world and preach the gospel to all creation'”. Traveling has always been something that I’ve enjoyed and its always something I felt I wanted to do. I heard about the race through a friend who is on the gap year race and I thought it looked like an amazing opportunity that was just laid out in front of me. I’ve been on a few missions trips before two domestic too Puerto Rico and Arizona, I went to Builders for God when I was little with my parents, and I went on two trips over seas to Transnistria an off break country to Moldova. In all of those trips I have grown in Christ and have really found my love for the Lord and travel. I am extremely excited for this challenge and experience in life and I can’t wait to share it with all of you through these little updates!
