A lot of my friends are non-believers or believe and just don’t go to church. Quite a few of my friends from church are either away at school or have moved. So me finding other friends that are believers is always a blessing from God. The first friend I’ve made was online back in 2016 and we’ve been the type of friends that would talk every once in a while to see how each other was. Back in October she reached out asking if she could come to my house (She lives up in New York) and come spend the weekend and go to a concert together. Lets just say she is one of the first people I reach out too when I am going through a rough time. But anyway one thing I knew is she was a believer but I wasn’t sure how deep into faith she was until she came and stayed here and made it a point to go to church on Sunday morning. That was when I felt an instant connection with her and it was amazing as it was a time when I was going to say yes to my calling of coming on the race. My next friend I also met online but she was a friend of a friend. We’re actually meeting up again next week for another concert. But our friend who connected us made a comment about how we’re both believers and how both ours stories are somewhat similar when it comes to saying yes to the Lord. But thats her story to tell and not mine. But the other night we got to talking about it and again it was like this instant connection and it reminded me of something I heard in church one week and it was “isn’t it amazing that instant connection you feel when you meet another follower of Christ” and now having feeling it twice I can say its pretty amazing. Its on a different level of you’re non-believer friends because you know that as you get older you’re always going to have that same connection with that person even as you grow apart from your other friends and make new ones over having different or new interests and paths of life.
