Hey Everyone!
Before introducing myself I would like to thank you all for your constant prayers, love and support. I feel beyond blessed to have you all on my life and for you all to be part of this wonderful, crazy and scary journey with me.
So about me, I’m Erika Alvarez 🙂 I’m 25 years love, work for an online marketing agency, serve for the youth ministry at my church and am originally from Colombia but have been living in the States for the past 12 years.
Facts that makes me who I am:
– God – An every day growing relationship.
– Family – Hispanic background
– Close circle for friends – The people I walk life with.
– And love for soccer, gotta love it.
When I first heard about The World Race I was instantly drawn to it and knew it was something the Lord was calling me to pursue. By serving at my home church I have found a new love for being the feet and hands of God, in whichever form that may be. I have learned the true meaning of what it is to be a godly like servant, a servant that is not after self recognition but a servant who’s goal is to love on people and bringing them closer to God.
Everything that I have learned and grown in it has been a preparation to what God is calling me to purse in this season. I’m preparing myself to start my journey for The World Race, through this journey I will be able to get to know Him in a much deeper and intimate way. “Therefore, my dear brothers and sisters, stand firm. Let nothing move you. Always give yourselves fully to the work of the Lord, because you know that your labor in the Lord is not in vain.” 1 Cor 15:58. His plans are nothing but perfect!
