My heart is so full.

One week from tomorrow, I leave (with a GREAT team of women from The Bridge) to go and serve (and learn from) the beautiful people of Haiti for 8 days.

As you probably already know, in January I leave for The World Race, for which I have to raise a pretty substantial amount of support.

It just so happens that my first fundraising deadline for The World Race passes while I’m in Haiti. I’ve been praying that God would provide in advance of that trip, so that my heart and mind are completely focused on our work in Haiti while we’re on the ground.

Yesterday I learned that I’ve already officially surpassed that deadline and am 26% funded for next year, as evidenced at the top of this page!

This is SUCH a gift. I am so humbled, grateful, and amazed at God’s provision and the generosity of my family and dear friends. Thank you. Some of you have given anonymously and I don’t know your names or have the ability to personally thank you, but I’m telling you here and now – thank you. I love you and your generous hearts.

I’ve been brought to tears many, many times over the last few weeks by the ways in which God has showed His provision in my life. If you’ve been a part of that, know that I’m taking you with me in January. You, too, will be holding orphans, feeding the hungry, and loving the poor. You’ll be with me…from Costa Rica to Uganda and everywhere in between.

Y’all are the best, and I praise God for you.

With love & joy,
E

I will extol you, my God and King,
and bless your name forever and ever.
Every day I will bless you
and praise your name forever and ever.
Great is the Lord, and greatly to be praised,
and his greatness is unsearchable.

One generation shall commend your works to another,
and shall declare your mighty acts.
On the glorious splendor of your majesty,
and on your wondrous works, I will meditate.
They shall speak of the might of your awesome deeds,
and I will declare your greatness.
They shall pour forth the fame of your abundant goodness
and shall sing aloud of your righteousness.

The Lord is gracious and merciful,
slow to anger and abounding in steadfast love.
The Lord is good to all,
and his mercy is over all that he has made.
