Our ministry hosts here in Chile are Juan and Elvira Galleguillos. We live and serve with them and their two children, Valentina and Sammy.
In the two weeks before we arrived, the church Juan pastors, Comunidad Bautista Los Andes (Baptist Community Church) was robbed, and the funds they had, which totaled about $800USD, were stolen. To add insult to injury, in the following days, the church flooded.
Our team has been here for less than a week, but we have no doubt that we were placed here for such a time as this. We KNOW that among the 7 of us and all of you – our friends and family – God will not only replenish what was taken, but that He will take what was intended for harm and turn it for the good of the Galleguillos and the church.
This church is faithfully being the hands and feet of Jesus here in Chile. These are our brothers and sisters. And if my church at home was faced with this situation…a dire one, in which they don’t have the funds to keep the lights and gas on…I would hope that believers around the world who could help us would help us.
