HEY EVERYBODY!!!! 🙂
so today our squad split up and went to their different ministry contacts..my team && another team are staying in the same hostel..which is SO NICE!! so im enjoying every bit of it! we do have internet but everytime it rains..it doesnt work worth a poo lol…
just wanted to update everybody..as a team we have a budget everyday we get right at 11Q which is right at $1.30 per meal..so we have 33Q for 3 meals..lets just say our meals are lots of vegetables and fruits..meat is SO expensive and way our of budget!!!
we cant flush the toilet paper here so you dont touch the trashcans around here..because they are slacknasty! but atleast we have a toilet 🙂
it rains EVERYDAY! and it gets cold when it rains..my rainjacket has been my BEST FRIEND!!
we hiked a volcano the other day!! it took like 3 hours..it was raining and cold..there were guys with horses walking beside us asking us if we wanted a ride!! i was very very tempted!! lol
we have been having amazing worship times/lessions this week at launch..really getting us prepared for what is to come..but im sure no matter how many sessions or songs..we cant expect anything..because only God knows what is to come!!
im the chef of our team..i cook the meals..and they are lovin it haha..thanks moma&&nana for the many years of recipes 🙂
did i mention its cold and rainy everyday haha
WE DO NOT DRINK THE WATER!! so we have bottled water to brush our teeth, cook, drink, etc.
drinks come in bags here!
we walk EVERYWHERE and usually it takes 30-40 minutes to get there..
the roads are cobblestone..which is very bumpy but beautiful..
antigua is SO BEAUTIFUL and HISTORIC..on my next free day..im going on a photoshoot walk 🙂
