Things never go as we expect here on the World Race- that would be boring. So we showed up for our ministry debried and found out that plans were going to change a little… ok a lot. We thought we were going to spend the month on the beautiful beachs of Boca De Toro doing construction and ministering to toursits.
Wrong
We are staying in the town of Guabito about a five minute drive from the Panama/Costa Rica border with two other teams from our squad who didn´t realize they were coming here either. For the first week the three of us are working together to turn a broken down little blue building on the border into a church. Once it is fixed up my team will be moving in and basically church planting for the month. We will be having services twice during the week, a prayer/worship meeting once a week and a Sunday School and two church services on Sunday mornings. It is going to be intense, busy, difficult and awesome
With only about 20 days left in Central America I am trying to soak up every minute… but to be honest my heart is yearning for Asia and I can´t wait to get there. Please pray that I don´t let a moment here pass me by… I can´t believe how quickly time is flying by!!
