Recap! What’s Next?

Oh hey there! It’s been a while… sorry about that, let’s recap. This time last year I had two options before me: to go to the nations or stay in this tiny little town alone with God. I knew that He and I needed to have some good, long, one-on-one time so that I could learn a few things. So I chose to stay and let Him pour into me. 
 
At the time I thought what was best for me was missions, leading and Thailand: everything I'm wired for! But in reality what was best for me this past year was working at Chick-fil-a and a paint your own pottery studio, couch surfing, Summerville SC and growing roots. Deep roots.  Becoming part of a family. Surrounding myself with people who are real and raw and don’t always have it all together.  With moms, dads, single people, married couples, adventurers, Kingdom warriors, pastors and Holy Spirit. With people who fiercely love me and who I deeply love in return.
 
This last year I was a student in my church’s school of ministry and learned more about how to hear God’s voice, how to push into the prophetic, about inner healing and prayer counseling… oh and I also learned a LOT about fast food, and yes, it was my pleasure! I surrendered my location and calling to Him and even got to a place where I would be happy to stay here in good old Summerville for as long as He wanted me to. I transitioned from obedience to grateful happiness and oh my goodness was it difficult. (I might have even cried once or twice.)
 

 
God wants me to be joyful! He wants me to be overflowing with love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness and self-control.
 
And my Daddy God, who knows me way better than I know myself, knew exactly what would fill me with overwhelming joy. And, get this, He loved me enough to give it to me!

 
Yaaa!!!! I am so beyond excited! I'm excited to get back out on the field! I’m excited to have some more adventures! I’m excited to see God move in the nations! But those things aren’t what fill me with joy. Way more than any of that I am excited to give back what I have been given. I am excited to see a generation rise up, break off their chains and inherit their destiny! I am excited to live life with these world changers and Kingdom bringers!  
 
So, I want to ask you to help me get there. Wait! Don’t stop reading! I'm not just asking for your money! I truly, genuinely, with every ounce of who I am believe that prayer is more important than any tangible gift you could possible give, so please, pray for me. I mean come on, two years ago a bunch of broke college students joined me in praying for this trip and then I won the entire thing for free! If they had all simply supported me financially I wouldn’t even have had enough money to pay for the gas to get to training camp. So please, pray for my squad, pray for us as leaders and just pray for me in any way you can think of… and of course if you feel led to also support me financially please click the support me link at the top left of the page.  I know this is what God has for me and I know that He will get me there. I can’t wait to see what He is going to do in and through all of us this year!
