I'm Georgia bound!

I haven't blogged in a while, so I thought this would be appropriate. I don't have a lot of time because I'm sitting in the airport waiting for my flight to start boarding.

It's a full flight. So there's nowhere to sit. So I'm sitting on the floor up against a wall. Seems appropriate, right?

Anyway, I'm off to Training Camp today!

I have so many emotions. Mostly just a mix of nervous and excited. I always get nervous in airports. And I always get nervous when meeting new people. But I'm SO EXCITED to meet the people who are going to be my family for the next year! Just a few short hours and I'll be there.

I don't have a lot of expectations for Training Camp. I read a blog once about Training Camp, and it gave the advice, "don't read blogs about Training Camp" so I didn't. At least not very much. I made sure not to read any that were going to give anything away. And I'm glad I did. I don't know what to expect and I'm excited about it.

I only have 2 expectations:

1. I'm going to meet a ton of people from all over the country that are CRAZY about Jesus! How exciting is that?! It's gonna be like Peniel…only so much bigger!

2. I expect God to show up. Everything I've read says to expect it. Says He likes to "flex his God muscles" at TC. I don't know what He's gonna do, but I'm excited to see it!

Today changes everything. Today I take the first big step on my journey of taking the love of Christ to the nations! I believe I'm going to come home feeling different. And I believe it's going to be a great week.

Love you all! And God Bless!

An update on fundraising: I'm still $1,272 away from meeting my $6500 deadline on June 17. This deadline lets me leave in July. I'm also $10,272 away from being Fully Funded.
