It's amazing how much the one words I chose led me to this past year and what it has been me, and the year that is to come – 2013.
For 2011, my word was WILL.
-I will choose God's will over mine, in all circumstances.
-I will complete the things I start.
-I will be proactive in life, in my decisions, in my actions.
This word led me to my first mission trip in Nakuru, Kenya. It also taught me to listen to the Father more than the credit I give to the word.
For 2012, my word was CONQUER.
-I conquered my fear of man (and am still kicking it's butt today).
-I conquered my ties to my past, and decided to get a little vulnerable for some more freedom that the Lord was ready to give me.
-I conquered a fundraising deadline, with alot of work, prayer, and faithful supporters.
-I conquered freedom.
Conquer became a word to describe what the World Race has been like for me these first 6 months. It has been about conquering my past, conquering my previous false perceptions, conquering who I was and living in who I am now as a daughter.
For 2013, I'm choosing MORE.
More is such a broad word, but it can be summed up in one statement for me. I just want more of God.
To go further, I want more of what He has to offer me. I want to give Him more of me. I want more of it all. I don't ever want to settle in life, or in my walk with Him. So I choose more – more of Him, more of me.
So, here's to a new year, and here's to more of what He has to offer me. Shoot, here's to what he has to offer YOU.

Also, to celebrate the new year, we decided it would be fun to do it on the beach since we are here for a few days for our six month debrief. Here's a little bit of what a World Race holiday celebration looks like. Love you all! Happy new year!
