I came into training camp with an understanding of what I thought worship was. But I came out of training camp with a whole new idea. When i say God completely rocked out training camp, that would be an understatement. Hearts were ignited, people got out of their mindset of what "worship" looked like to them and into an outlook of what worship looks like to God.

In one word, I'd describe worship for God as simply submission.
Submissing yourself to what it is that He wants to speak, do, or place in your life.

At training camp, there were so many things going on and happening that it left little room for truly processing what happened so I probably won't be able to go into many details, but I will tell you that at training camp:

True Worship truly existed.
Closed mindsets were opened up.
Hearts were set free.
Bondages and chains were thrown away in a dumpster to never be picked back up.
People really delved into the Holy Spirit.
And the one that I'm still blown away by is that my friend, and squadmate, Jacob was healed from being deaf since 1st grade along with so many other healings..Praise God.

Life — new life — was spoken and created into existence.

I mean, God is crazy. It's like He breathed into our mouths and out came an overflow of worship, freedom, and renewal in who He is.

And speaking of how crazy God is, I am so excited to announce that we have been given our teams. I'd like to introduce you to:

Team Kina

I am so excited to serve with these incredible men and ladies that were so divinely placed on this team.
In case you were wondering, "Kina" means "depth" or "deep" in Swahili, the national language of 5 countries in Africa. We chose "kina" for a few reasons. One, because it's original and it's in Swahili. Two, because it's freakin' awesome. Three, because we decided we wanted each of our experiences to be about going deeper and digging deeper with the Lord and what He has for each of us. We are all so extremely excited to grow together at least for the next few months, if not for the whole 11 months!

It has been incredible loving on this team and on my whole squad for the past week. God has really given me the biggest love for these people. So much that I couldn't even describe it if I tried.

Thanks to everyone for your prayers up till this point! God has been doing some great stuff. He has already provided close to $8000 for me to be able to go, but I still need about $7500 to stay the full 11 months. Please be in prayer about how you can support me financially! All I can say is I know where I'm supposed to be and even if you just give $10, that would be such a blessing because it all adds up!
