I've been a bit wordless lately when it comes to writing. But today, today I have something to say. Today, I have a question.

A challenge,  if you will.

The Lord is showing me things lately – way more than usual. Faults, lies that I have believed (lies that a lot of people believe), weaknesses, strengths, you name it. And he's bringing me into this period of restoration, a period of breaking me into puzzle pieces that I've never even seen or acknowledged (along with puzzle pieces that I have swept under the rug) and reconstructing me into His image. And He's showing me more of His character and what His plan is when it comes to the big picture. So the question for the day is for those who  claim to "follow Jesus."

Do you REALLY believe that Jesus is alive?

You sing songs about it, you talk about it, you read about it, but do you believe it? It's a simple question, really. Let's think about this for a little.  What did Jesus do when He was walking on this Earth? To fill you in and remind you, a typical day for Jesus would consist of spreading the GOOD news of the Gospel, restoring the sight of the blind, casting out evil spirits, raising the dead, rescuing prostitutes, feeding the 5,000, etc. It's all up and down in the gospels of the Word. You name it, Jesus did it. All for the glory of His Father.

Matthew 10: 8 says, "Heal the sick, raise the dead, cleans lepers, cast out demons. Freely you have received, freely give."

So why are we so reluctant to be like Jesus? Another simple question with a simple answer to follow. FEAR with a huge side of COMFORT please to Table#1. Along with this, some people are simply unsure about all of this. But if we believe that the Word is TRUTH, then Jesus wasn't making up what He said. He was being serious.

If Jesus says in the Word that whoever believes in Him will do all these things that He does AND GREATER (John 14:12), then imaaagginne what we can do. I mean, Jesus is a tough act to follow, and we will never be as perfect as He is, but the fact that we can do even greaterrr for the Kingdom is enough to be said within itself.

So as you can see, it's not just about singing that Jesus is alive in church on Sunday. It's about believing it, it's about acting on it, and it's about being grateful for it. It's about dropping the fears we have, taking up our cross and following the Savior. It's about LIVING a life with faith, because faith without works (actions) IS DEAD. (James 2:14)

Because you wanna see Jesus alive? Go to the mirror and look no more, because there He is. If you've accepted Him, He's in there and He's ready to bring Heaven to Earth, so allow him to work in you. Allow Him to heal someone through you. Imagine what you could do for the glory of the Father.

Get out of your comfort zone and into a stepping stone of faith.
