We are now currently working a family event here in Waikanae, NZ and its pronounced like ~ Why-can-eye ~ which is interesting. I love the cultural differences I am noticing here. “New Wine” the event we are working is a family oriented event with seminars for the adults, group teen events and classes for the small children as well. Myself and Auston are working with 9 and 10 year old’s. It is pretty amazing to see a child that age be passionate about the Lord and curious about His creation.
We have talking to the kids about light from a scientific stand point and from a biblical point of view as well. The theme is on how Jesus is the light of the universe and awesome God is. When we were praying one of the kids said that he got a message from the Lord in the word found in 1 John 1 “This, in essence, is the message we heard from Christ and are passing on to you: God is light, pure light; there’s not a trace of darkness in Him. If we claim that we experience a shared life with Him and continue to stumble around in the dark, we’re obviously lying through our teeth– we’re not living what we claim. But if we walk in the light, God himself being light, we also experience a shared life with one another, as the sacrificed blood of Jesus, God’s Son, purges our sin. If we claim that we’re free of sin, we’re only fooling ourselves. A claim like that is errant nonsense. On the other hand, if we admit our sins– make a clean breast of them– He won’t let us down; He’ll be true to himself. He’ll forgive our sins and purge us of all wrong doing.”
HOW AWESOME IS THAT!!!!! That was from a nine year old boy named Blake during prayer!! God is here and moving in the lives of these children and it truly is awesome to see God use a child to deliver a message like that. It makes me all the more excited to see what God is going to do next. PRAISE GOD!!!!!!!! Thank you all for your prayers and support. I am still in need of both know though that God is with us moving amongst us and is calling His people back to Him!!!!! God bless you and I love you all.
