So this past month has been a different experience in and of
itself. I haven’t been able to blog as regularly or as consistently and apologize
for that. When we had power the internet connection was sketchy at best and
inconsistent. SO here is an over view of what all we have been doing.

At the beginning of the month we painted the inside of a cathedral
with like 50 foot high walls. We then had the chance to speak at several
different schools and talk to and teach them about varying subjects. Everything
varying from AIDS to the climate in the U.S. to how to better budget their
money.

We then got to go to several different villages and speak at
the churches there. One of which I cant’ remember it’s exact name at the moment
and probably couldn’t spell it even if I did, but when translated into English
it is literally “the rhythm of the drum” or “the beat of the drum”. It was cool
we basically preached and sang songs at each of the churches some time for no
more than 6 hours at the most. But split between the seven of us we all were
still speaking for a substantial amount of time.

We are now back in Kampala
and found out the night before we left to get back here that the youth conference
that we were supposed to be working for this week has been canceled. So now we
have a few days of relaxing before the long bus ride to Nairobi
so that we can catch our flight to Ireland.

I found out today that we will not be going to Romania first but will be going to Ukraine
instead. Not to sure if we will be going there at all now but that’s how it
goes in the life of a world racer, “Be flexible”. Needless to say this month
has came and gone by so fast. Looking back on our time in Africa
we have faced challenges and dealt with the frustration of language barriers,
but all in all it has been a unique and growing experience for sure.

I look forward to being in Europe,
but it will be a little weird no longer feeling like a celebrity by not having
everyone staring at you. Please continue to pray for us as time goes on and as
we will be heading out soon. On a side not I have about $1,300 left to go until
I am fully supported so if you are able to please do so as I have three more months
left to go. Thank you all and God bless.
