Hello from Australia!!! We made it here alright and are currently on a ywam base and will be here Brisbane for a for about three more days. We will be going to Mareeba where the lovely weather there is an average of 115 degree’s!!!! We got here in Brisbane on Wednesday spent the night and then yesterday morning we went and helped out at the local “Food Barn”.
It was really cool, there are three teams here so there were about 14 of us there they didn’t know what to do with us all. It was really great because the food barn doubles as a church and we were able to really bless them in a number of ways like organizing stuff for them, cleaning, loading and unloading groceries, ect. It was really cool!
Before we left New Zealand I had the opportunity to talk to some people the last day of the ‘New Wine’ conference. I was blessed in playing a small role in the walks of two young women and a young man. The girls were struggling with some issues in the bible and weren’t even sure they believed in God. They were really having a hard time as some of the issues like predestination and evolution, were a couple of the issues. Three hours later and I quote “Wow that just answered alot of the questions I had.”
I take no credit for what was said I give full credit to God because I found myself saying things that I know I couldn’t have said on my own. I pray that they find God and figure out what they believe. I had suggested to them that they read and study and not just go off of what one person says and then as well as to test what that person person says. I pray that the things that were spoken to them may help water the seed that God has planted inside of them.
I can’t wait to see what God is going to do next, I would like to ask for your prayers for my family back home as I recently found ou that an uncle of mine has passed. Please keep my aunt in your prayers and my family as well, as we are having a hard time dealing with this loss. Thank you and may God bless you.
