Wow, the past few weeks have really flown
by. I mean WOW!!! When we arrived in Odessa we found that we weren’t going to
be there long. We, as I said before, that we ended up just doing some door to
door evangelism in one village and talking with youth in another. For the past
couple of weeks we have been in another city called Krasnoarmeysk.

So for the past two weeks here we have been
all over the place, it has been pretty crazy. Our first week here we went all
over town handing out fliers to people (don’t ask me what they said cuz they
were all in Russian) inviting them to English club. Our contacts hold an
English club at their home twice a week, so apparently having a team of
Americans is good advertisement.

It has been really cool doing English club
with them over the past two weeks. We have been talking about things like food
we have seen around the world and the places we have been. The idea is for
everyone there to speak in English but it doesn’t always happen, which keeps
things interesting. For instance this past week on Tuesday we talked about
food, again, but with a twist.

We made up a menu from the words of foods
we gave them the week before. They practiced two sides of a conversation by
ordering food and taking the order, as if they were at a restaurant.  It was really cool to hear and see them really
get into like they did. We have done a couple of bible studies and preaching
last week.

Also within the past week we went to a
local school about thirty minutes away by bus. We went there over the course of
three days. Teaching about the places we have been and the differences we have
noticed. The idea was to get the children to practice their English as well. We
talked on varying topics about each country like the education, health care,
their standard of living and the culture of those regions.

One of the things that I noticed when we
were at the school was how nice all the students were dressed and how well
behaved they all were. It was interesting to see all of them they looked like
miniature business men and women. After the first day the all the students had
caught wind that we were there and so after that they were all wanting
pictures, autographs and emails.

It was cool feeling like a celebrity for a
few days, but they kept us busy and it was an awesome experience. We will be
leaving for Romania in a few days and we will be there for a few weeks before
heading to our final destination in Moldova. I can’t believe it is October
already!!!!! OH MY GOSH!!!! Time has gone by so fast. I can’t even begin to process
all that has happened over the past nine months when I stop and look back. All
I can say is………………………….. PRAISE GOD!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I can’t believe it. I mean where did the
year go? I feel like I was just in Thailand and now we are going into our tenth
month already????  Wow. I really don’t
know what else to say other than that when I think about it. Ok, so apparently
there was like a glitch with my support account and the other day when I
checked it showed I had like six hundred dollars left to raise. Well I checked
it again and it showed me back at what it was before. So I have now checked it
again and according to what I am now seeing I have around three hundred and
sixty dollars left to raise until I am fully supported. Any and all help you
can provide would be a tremendous help. Please continue to pray for us as we
travel over these last two months. God bless.
