Therefore, in the present case I advise you: Leave these men alone! Let them go! For if their purpose or activity is of human origin, it will fail. But if is from God, you will not be able to stop these men; you will only find yourselves fighting against God. Acts 5:38-39
This passage is awesome because it was spoken at a Sanhedrin (ruling body of Israel) meeting on how to handle Peter and the apostles after they were caught teaching and healing in the name of Jesus. If it is of human origin, it will fail; but if it is from God, you will not be able to stop these men.
If our God is for us, then who could be against us? Who could stop us? NO ONE! Your opposition will find themselves fighting against God.
I know God has called me to reach the least of these around the world through service and sharing the Gospel! With this calling I know I can’t fail because it is not of human origin, but something God placed on my heart after fervently seeking Him daily.
My hopes and dreams got me to dead end places with my heart and soul wanting more…. not more money and power but more of Him! To live the fulfilled life of picking up my cross daily, surrendering everything, and following Him with everything!
So I go!
What is God calling you to do? What vision has He placed on your heart? To reach out to co-workers, serve more at the church, lead a small group, adopt a child, start a non-profit………Whatever God is speaking to your heart, pursue it!
Be Bold, Be Intentional
