God has me on a wild adventure with no end insight….it really kicked off in 2013 when He called me to leave the comforts of a corporate job to serve for 11 months on the World Race. At the time I thought this was the most daunting yet exciting decision I have ever faced!

During 2014, God’s abundance and grace has been overwhelming by leading  me in personal growth, significance of community, and how is He is working all over the world! It has been truly inspiring to see the hand of God move in so many different cultures and individuals who are willing to do whatever it takes to advance the Kingdom in their local community.

I have gone to the nations, seen God move in crazy ways, witnessed first hand injustices that happen everyday and realize that only the Gospel has the power to bring hope to the hopeless. Now God is calling me one step farther….to do something about it!

Staring down the next step of faith; going to G42 Leadership Academy in Spain for 6 months starting January 6th, 2015!

Why is this so daunting?

Before leaving on the race, I knew there was a possibility of going back to a lifestyle that I left in 2013. Knowing more than likely my old company would take me back, or I could find work elsewhere and get back into the American groove. There is nothing inherently wrong with that life either; working at a stable job, serving at church, and getting involved in the local community. Part of me really loves that lifestyle because there was nothing better than discussing Jesus around the water cooler on Monday mornings, and inviting people to church throughout the week. How awesome is it that you can get paid to build relationships with your co-workers and guide them toward Christ!

Going into this opportunity I realize there is a real chance that I never experience that lifestyle again. The thought that God will call me to another nation, and living in America near family and friends will only happen around the holidays. That I have a heart to reach people far from God, and willing to surrender my idea of lifestyle at the foot of the cross and embrace God’s will for my life.

What I love most about G42 is

After successful completion of all course requirements, you will be encouraged to “Say Amen and Make a Plan”—establish a church where God has called you, or build a business, or lead a ministry. Or all three! The leadership of G42 will continue to provide oversight, help, mentoring, and direction as desired, as well provide access to our network of partner ministries around the globe.

How can you help?

  1. Pray – guidance throughout G42, finances, health
  2. Give – It will cost $6,000 for tuition which covers all expenses minus airline tickets and health insurance…and I need to raise $3,000 by January 6th (1st day of class)!

  3. Share – spread the news to your friends and family!
