Dear family and friends,
Thank you for your prayers and partnership. It has been a blessing seeing God use what we have and multiply it for His purpose and seeing lives change because of it.
It has also been encouraging seeing your interest and investment in God’s work around the world.
A saying that is used a lot in Africa is “God is good all the time, and all the time God is good!”
This is so true. God is good even when we are not. Even when we are faithless, He is faithful. Because of His grace, He pours out on us blessing after blessing and it’s not because of anything we have done but simply because God is good!
I am excited to share with you the opportunity that God has been leading me to! It is called the World Race. The World Race is an 11-month mission trip to 11 different countries. We leave our comfort zones and familiar surroundings to spread the gospel through various forms or ministries, which will look different in every country.
The countries we will be ministering in are: The Philippines, Thailand, Cambodia, China, Malaysia, Uganda, Rwanda, Ethiopia, Romania, Serbia, and Albania.
Why the World Race?
One of the unique things about the World Race is that it’s not only a mission trip but also an intensive discipleship program designed to launch my generation in our specific kingdom callings. Through the World Race, my team and I will serve in partnership with churches and ministries in local communities to preach the Gospel, plant churches, work in orphanages, minister to people trapped in prostitution as a result of human trafficking, and bring the restorative hope of the Father’s love to many tribes and nations.
11 countries to share Christ and His love!
God has changed my life over the past few years. I used to want to make my name known and try to add God into my life while pursuing my own dreams, but He changed the desires of my heart and now I want to make His name known, and live my life completely for Him. God has graciously allowed me to be a part of His wonderful story and it has been a blessing to watch the way God heals and restores lives.
As a result, I want to be used as an instrument in the hands of God to change other people’s lives as well. I want them to know that the only true thing that satisfies is a life surrendered to God. I want them to experience His love.
Over the years God has given me a burden for the nations and to see people from every nation and culture be transformed by God’s amazing grace. And so this opportunity to go to several different nations and share Christ is one of my heart’s greatest desires. God has been leading me to go to different countries around the world to share the good news that Jesus saves!
How can you be a part of this?
I need your partnership in prayer! I am looking for people who will go before the Lord and be praying for our team as we prepare to head out in July.
July is coming up quickly and there is a lot of preparation to be done. Humanly speaking, this seems impossible, especially since this is with an American mission organization and Canadian donors will not be able to receive a tax receipt; but with God, everything is possible and He is able to overcome this obstacle.
In the book of Philippians, God tells us to not be anxious about anything but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving to present our requests to God, Philippians 4:6.
The following are the amounts and deadlines I need to have them by:
- $3,500 – Due May 1stth, 2015
- $7,500 – Due June 12th, 2015
- $11,000 – Due October 1st, 2015
- $16,267 – Total due January 1st, 2016
$16,200 is a large amount but I know that God is able to bring in all of it.
God has provided the opportunity for me to earn a significant portion.
I am working the nightshift full-time in a furniture factory to help raise as much of the money for the trip as I can. I have never worked night shifts in a factory so this is a good learning experience.
Even though I will be able to earn a portion of what is needed, I am still in need your partnership.
And so I am asking you to consider praying for this and asking God to provide for all the preparation and support for this trip. I need you to pray with me that God will do something big and bring people closer to Him in the process!
