For valentines day my team and I had a secret valentine!!! Part of it was writing about the person you had drawn for a blog!!!! so this blog is from my teammate Lexi!!!!

I could never thank God enough for giving me someone as special as you to be my best friend.
I have watched you morph from a reserved individual into an enthusiastic, loving, warm, silly, and crazy gal I get to call me best friend.
In Cambodia you called out your mask, in Honduras you grew in the spirit, in Guatemala you have flourished in community. You offer all you have for the sake of love. You pour out to your students, your friends here, and even random people who message you. You never give part of yourself, you offer up what Jesus would, the full first portion.
Everyday I see you surrender yourself for the sake of the gospel. Everyday you become more like Jesus. And everyday your smile gets just a little bit larger.
Emry, you are transparent and vulnerable, making a safe place for everyone who comes to. You open up and constantly fill the silence of them room, with your exciting voice. You encourage others, and are always the first to listen. Emry, Jesus works through you to be the friend to everybody.
You are selfless, like the people in the book of acts. Laying your life down, and sharing all you have with the body of Christ. You’re servant heart will never go unnoticed, and you bless everyone you’re around.
I’m so excited for you to go home, and for everyone to see the work God has done in you. You are a changed women, and are a light for all to see.
This Valentine’s Day I celebrate you, our friendship, our Heavenly Father, and the love that we understand through His spirit.
