It’s been almost a year since I got accepted into the World Race Gap Year and the day is finally here! I am currently waiting in the San Fransisco airport waiting out our 15 hour layover before we head to China and then finally Cambodia. I am feeling so many different emotions right now, but the main one is excitement. I never actually thought that the day would come. but IT’S HERE!!!!!!!!!!!!!
While I was in Atlanta we had many training and praise and worship sessions. Every worship sessions had over 250 young adults getting excited over praising Jesus and I’ve never seen anything like it.

OVER 250 YOUNG ADULTS ARE GIVING UP THEIR COMFORTABLE LIVES TO SERVE JESUS.

I get goosebumps every time I think of it. I am so grateful to be apart of the 250. And I have you to thank for this opportunity. I would not be here if it wasn’t for your prayers and donations!

I’m currently sitting in the south food court in the San Fran airport. Me and 4 other racers decided to pray over the individuals in the food court because many were looking at us like we were crazy and didn’t want us to approach them and ask to pray over them. As we were ending the prayer, A guy approached us. He started off by saying “Praise Jesus, Praise Jesus” and then it turned into him hating on many individuals and religions. He said that we were scared and don’t know anything. He started telling us which colleges we need to go to, and how all the high schools we went to are messed up, and that we have been brainwashed since kindergarten by the government. His arguments were based off of politics and not Jesus’s love for us. He was filled with fear, fear of government, fear of man, but not fear of Jesus. Once he left a couple racers I was with walked over to the Muslim family next to our table and apologized and talked to them for a bit, and then a couple of us prayed over him and his life and that peace would be brought to it.
