I think these last two weeks I have just been stunned by all God is and all He is to me!
This God I serve willingly sacrifices for me so I could have a relationship with Him. This God I serve not only wants to provide the best for His disciples but truly cares deeply for our hearts and our lives. This God I serve waits for us to grab His hand and follow Him. This God I serve is not seeking Himself but knows He is the best for us because He is our creator. This God I serve dreams with me, makes them possible, and better than I could imagine. This God I serve isn’t a powerful being looking down at us with some lighting bolt ready to strike us down but one who walks ahead of me, beside me, and behind me to make sure I am okay.
My God is my daddy, my best friend, and my teacher! My God is a safe place from the hurts, confusion, and pain around us. My God doesn’t just take away my pain or hurt but He walks with me through it and shows me with Him we can rise above it, and conquer it. My God shows me who I really am through encouragement and love. However my God is the most powerful thing in the universe so you see when I say He loves me it is the most powerful love ever to exist. When I say He is my refuge it is the strongest refuge there is. When I say He is always holding my hand it is the the same hand that created this earth! The God I serve is the perfect balance of power and love. My Jesus left his position of power because He loves and cares for us all with the most powerful love ever to exist. He came down to serve us so we may experience this powerful presence in our lives right now. My God is the one I serve because He is the most powerful thing to exist and also He is a servant, a friend, a daddy, the greatest love story, a shoulder to cry on, a person to laugh with till you can’t breath, a person to dance with, He is exactly what you need wherever you are.
This is why I want to share about my God that I serve because He is way more than we could ever imagine and we all can have a relationship with him right now.
God, Jesus, and the Holy Spirit are my everything. God is not just a god but so much more so explore for yourself who God is to you!
