Marah, Marah Lou, Warrior of Judah
Marah was another unexpected friendship for me. Upon meeting her, you can pretty quickly gather that she loves music, her fiancé Trevor, and, of course, Jesus. She is passionate about teaching and teaching well. She’s a yogi, a knitter and a bit of a health nut. She’s super enthusiastic about, well, most everything and dang, she’s got some eyes on her. But, that’s not all there is to Marah.
Marah has surprised me with the amount of love in her heart. She feels so deeply and loves her family, friends and fiancé with a fierce intentionality. She grabs after truth with her bare hands and does not let go. She is constantly seeking ways to point those around her to Jesus and into the fullness of who He made them to be. At the same time, she approaches correction with a humble heart that I admire. She is silly, sensible and sensitive, and I am so glad to call her friend.
I can see the ways Marah is already building her life to reflect her identifier words. She is actively striving towards these things. Below, these photos represent her outward love for music and glorifying our Lord with her songbird heart.
