Jessie, JB, “Just” Jessie, Jessie B.
At training camp, we quickly bonded over our shared homestate of South Carolina, but she also quickly realized how un-southern I really am. Unlike me, she is an expert shagger, and she educated our whole squad about our state dance. She is an unwavering Clemson fan and really knows how to get a crowd to listen to her (she loud!). She loves Young Life, numbers, and her middle schoolers.
These were my first impressions of Jessie, but let me tell you more about the JB I know. She is always the one to call for a good time. She is a huge fan of forehead kisses, and gives them generously to those she cares about. She recognizes the need for change and growth even when it terrifies her. She asks hard questions as she seeks the real, honest truth. She is a dedicated friend, she gives her whole heart to her relationships and thrives on connection.
Below are some photos of Jessie in all her nerdy, fun-loving glory. When I asked her what three words she would want people to describe her as, the words she gave made perfect sense. Jessie is and continues to grow into who she is within these words – here is JB.
