Hey ya’ll!

This last week of official ministry in Peru has been so bittersweet!

For two days we cleaned and painted 750 rocks. It was much more tedious and time consuming than we thought it would be!

We spent three days with kids and playing a bunch of games and doing a lot of dancing! It was so so much fun! One afternoon we held English games to help to kids learn English. That was a cool opportunity. One little girl named Rosita, for some reason chose to make me her new best friend. I have to admit it was really sweet and I quite enjoyed her tagging along with me for the days.

Sunday we went to a local church and worshipped for a hour together until the service started. I really love having both Spanish and English being sung at the same time! The service was hard to understand from it being translated not the best to English, but more worship and there were more voices to sing in native languages! We performed a dance that our team does for them, they loved it! We did it twice and the kids and whole congregation joined us! Such a fun time!

We leave for a week in Cusco to go to Machu Picchu. While we are there, our ministry will be having Ask The Lord days (ATL). I am super excited for that!

Wow, the trip is almost over and I can’t believe it! I have a lot of processing to do about how I feel about that! The Lord has been showing me so many things I have to learn, and I’m still trying to learn them! Haha, haven’t gotten them down yet! But, I will have to continue growing when I get home, and figure out what that looks like! I won’t be in community anymore, and I know for sure I will struggle in leaving that.   So prayers for that would be appreciated!

That’s a quick update! Thanks for following along!

Love,

Emma
