Hello once again friends! This past week I started my World Race journey! I am beyond excited to see The Lord continue to move in such a graceful way.
We met the sweetest lady yesterday, Mahtyaa, she has worked in the orphanage in Kampong Cham, Cambodia for the last 20 years, but recently fell ill. She has been faithfully serving The Lord for 14 of those years. One thing that I truly love about Cambodia thus far is how hospitable its people are. They welcome you into their home and almost always ask if you have eaten today, because they hold so much significance in community meals. They clean you plate for you and offer you stuff to take home. Mahtyaa was no exception to this, her grace and love was abounding, the fist thing she did when she met us was kiss and hug us, she has the beauty and love of The Lord radiating through her. She is incredibly faithful, we ended up praying for healing over her, and sitting with her for about an hour.
I have learned so much from just sitting with her, she is so wise. I desire to grow in wisdom during these next few months. Be able to discern Gods voice more than ever before, and to better understand people and their hearts. I hope to build relationships in this village and show them the infinite love of Jesus. To walk and love these people in boldness, stepping out of my comfort zone, and beyond the language barriers, and simply be a vessel.
I cannot wait to see The Lord continue to move, and keep y’all updated.
Love you all
