SO I am actually in Ecuador writing this (crazy huh?!?!) but I did want to do a little recap on the past 3 months in Africa. So you know what that means…..VLOOGGGGG!

Disclaimer! Not captured is ministry, because I literally never had my phone (Tbh I had to get a few of these videos from Sarah because I just never took my phone ANYWHERE even on fun days hahahah oops) but yeah!!! I also know this isn’t the best…I’m not Ashlyn or Drew or Emily BUT I DID WHAT I COULD.

I just put in some of my favorite moments! Like star tipping, the Sokke dance, and everything in between.

Honestly, South Africa was hard for me. I haven’t gotten a chance to share that on here yet, but I really struggled in those 3 months and I didn’t realize it until I left.  That is NOT to say I didn’t learn and grow and change, but it’s not a place that I am leaving my heart if that makes sense! The good thing is that the Lord can use any and everything, even feelings of my flesh He can turn into good. Making this reminded me of the sweet and tender moments the Lord set aside for my heart.

South Africa, you were nothing and everything I hoped you would be. Thank you for all the ways you changed me. Thank you for all the milkshakes. All the tears. All the early mornings and late nights. All the good meals and the conversations that came around them. Thank you for dance parties galore and celebrations. Thank you for the kids that loved me well. Thank you for being the start of something beautiful.

You were a true friend to me— not always giving me what I wanted but what I needed. For that I am GRATEFUL.

Thank you Jesus for knowing what my heart needs (as always)

What a season. Here she is!
