Let me tell y’all, Georgia is changing my life. Every day there’s a new takeaway, and God continues to reveal astounding things to me. He never fails to take my breath away.

I thought it would be cool to share a taste of what this life is like!

6:50 am ~ my alarm goes off. 9 times out of ten, I don’t get up for another half hour, but every so often I’ll go with a few people to sit at the edge of the driveway, and catch the sunrise.

8:00 am ~ breakfast! The kitchen staff here is so generous to us and never fails to accommodate our needs!

9:00-10:00 am ~ morning devos! These can either be led by one of our leaders or by ourselves. They can look like spending time in the word, prayer journaling, or just sitting in His presence and His creation. On Fridays we dive deep into James as a squad!

10:00-12:00 pm ~ we have a session! We have had multiple speakers give messages this past month, and lately we have been learning about different cultures overseas, and how we can properly share the good news of the gospel to them.

12:10 pm ~ temp checks! We rebuke covid here.

12:30 pm ~ lunch!! The food stays winning.

1:30-2:30 pm ~ rotations! These change every day. They can be showers, exercise, squad time (the best), laundry, or cleaning the campus!

2:30-5:30 pm ~ free time! We have found a lot of ways to keep busy around here. A lot.

5:30 pm ~ dinner! Can’t stress enough how much we are blessed here.

6:30-7:30 pm ~ team time!! You can see my team on this page! This is when we spend time growing closer with each other. Team time is different every day, on Monday we watch The Bible Project, a video that dives into scripture and afterward we discuss questions about it, the next day is fun, then gratitude, feedback, and on Friday we debrief the week.

7:30-9:45 pm ~ more free time! Sometimes we play cards, watch movies, etc. On Wednesdays we worship as a squad!

10:00 pm ~ quiet hours. It’s time to pack up and head to the campsite.

The weekends we have sabbath. On Saturdays breakfast is at 9:00, then we have campus wide quiet hours from 10:00-12:00. It’s a great way to be still and hear the Lord. Then we’re free the rest of the day. On Sundays, there’s breakfast at 9:00, then at 10:15 we have squad church! This is always led by one of the teams! Church is definitely a highlight each week. Then the rest of the day is ours.

I have really fallen in love with this season of life. And I’ve never felt closer to the Lord. Please continue to pray for me and my squad as we grow together, and for our trip to Louisiana coming up these next few days! We are so eager to get an opportunity to dive into ministry.

Thanks for all the love and support!!
