You have probably seen my postcards, t-shirts, and may have heard me or others talk about it. This coming September I will be going on a mission trip! It will last for nine months and I will be going to three countries, Romania, South Asia, and Costa Rica. Each country will be bringing new and exciting things.
This is not just a mission trip. It is a way to see if this is something God will have me do full time. It is an opportunity to seek and find Him in a new way. I believe God will use this time to further me with Him. This is also another piece to the puzzle that we are watching Him build. He called us to be the light and show others this love He has given us. “To live is Christ and to die is gain” Philippians 1:21. This verse shows us that to live is not to live on this Earth but in Him with spiritual life. I believe that this life is to be shared with others so that they may also live. Romans 10:15 also states “…’How beautiful are the feet of those who bring the good news!'” Each of us are called to bring the good news. This may be in your work or it may be overseas. Whatever the setting may be, we are all responsible and who wouldn’t want to share it??
Of course I can’t do this alone, I need your help and support. I am raising money to go on this trip. This money will pay for traveling, lodging, and food to and in each country. My goal is $15,800. If you are unsure what or how much to give ask God and He will reveal it to you. However, I will not only be needing funds for support, I need prayer support. So even if you can’t or don’t give please support me in your prayers.
