Hello everyone!
So this is my first official blog post and I terribly excited to share with you why I am here and how God is working in my life.
I am simply here because God ignited a passion in my life to serve others several years ago and it has consumed my life. I have had an opportunity to serve in many different ways throughout the years, but I felt like I was being called to something bigger and longer than just a week. So I planned to work at a summer camp this summer, but that fell through and it completely broke my heart. After that I had almost given up on trying to find a way to serve although I still had a call in my heart to go. God then prompted me to check out the world race website just once more, I thought it was to merely become envious of the people out there who were on the gap year routes. I could not of been more wrong, God showed me right then and there what I would be doing this summer. At that point in time all I knew was that I was being called to the semesters program I just didn’t know where yet. I started praying and praying over which place I was being called to. And let me tell you something folks God works in amazing ways, everywhere I looked people were posting on instagram, talking about podcasts, and taking pictures all in and about GUATEMALA! So I was life okay God I guess we’re going to Guatemala. This whole process has shaken me to my core. I have been heartbroken only to be picked back by my gracious Savior and shown something even better then I could of ever imagined. So yeah that is why I am here and I am so anxious to see the ways the Father keeps growing me.
