For past 24 hours, emotions have been crazy, experiences have increased, and all expectations have, yet again, been broken.
Ladies and Gentlemen…..Welcome to Launch.
Hello to saying goodbye to family and friends (which, by the way, was a lot harder than I expected), and saying Hello to our new family whom I am very blessed, and excited to serve this next year with.
Hello to, once again, stepping out of comfort.
Hello to obedience.
Hello to Change and never looking back.
Hello to 6 mile walks to and from the store so that food can be provided for teams.
Hello to being a treasurer for a team of 7 and learning how to budget…..especially when you suck at handling your own personal budget. He sure does have a sense of humor.
Hello to tearing down walls that have been built for years or just in the last month.
Hello to Freedom.
Hello to Honesty.
Hello to Compromise.
Hello to just letting go.
Hello to total and complete abandonment of all things that may have made “you”.
Hello to being extremely flexible and not so time focused.
Even though it’s only been 24 hours since Launch began, God is at work. Wether it’s through family and friends back home or people sharing this hotel room with me, He is at it.
Guys, I am so Ready. I am so friggin Ready for this. Sure the traveling will be cool, but please know that is not the purpose of this trip for me. He has called me to do this thing with Him and for Him. He has called me to step out on a ledge and leap. He has called me to no longer sit in the shadows of my heart, but to give Him my everything. He has wrecked my heart completely, in such a way that He is molding me a whole new heart. He loves me. He adores me. He has been waiting for me to do this…..so here I go.
Yet again, I love you all very much. I am so excited to share in this journey with y’all. Open up and allow Him to strip every comfort from you. Let Him wreck your life completely only to be blessed by Him picking you right back up and brushing you off.
