Man. How blessed I am to be living the life that I do.

I just finished up my 4 month CGA internship. I can honestly say that I am leaving CGA with more than what I had hoped for. I came hoping to solidify the things that I learned while I was out on the race, wanting to grow more as a daughter and as a leader, to be stretched and challenged in new ways.

Boy, did I get that and so much more & He is NOT even close to being done…..

You see, God is all about taking your expectations of what things will look like and blowing them out of the water with what He has for you. When I came to Georgia, I thought it was only going to be for 4 months and then I would be heading back to good ol' Delaware.

And then whammm! Surprise. Not gonna happen

Didn't see that one coming.

Thanks Jesus.

Instead, I will be living in Swaziland for 3 months come January.

Yea. Africa, here I come. Again. And can I just say…..I am PUMPED

I knew in my heart of hearts that I would be going back to Africa. I didn't know when nor how, but here it is. I am going. Because He has said so.

And!

I am going to be doing what I love. Hanging out with a group of about 15 college age kids, loving on them, serving with them, and doing life with them as they discover more about the Father's heart for them. They don't know it yet, but they are probably going to bless the crap outta me. Ha. My heart is already so full of love for them and I haven't even met them. We will also be working with a ministry that I will post more about in a later blog.

So for the more logistical minded folks:

Where: My co-leader and I will be leading a Passport trip to Swaziland, Africa.

When: Leave January 25th and return April 24th-ish.

What: Passport is for 18-21 year olds and the trips vary from 1 month-9 months. The trip that I am leading is for 3 months.

How much: I have to fund-raise about $1800 for the total 3 months out on the field, which let's face it, is NOT bad at all. Most of that will go towards the airfare and then food/lodging while in Africa.

How much raised so far: $315, which puts me at: $1485 left to raise

If you feel led to support me financially, click on the Support Me link on the left side of the screen and it will walk you through the steps. And thank you. Again. For supporting the Kingdom and believing in Him and in me so much. He is good. So stinkin' good.

I can't even begin to explain, especially through a blog, how excited I am about this awesome journey.

Feel free to email me or call me (email for number) if you ever have questions about what I am doing or to just talk about Him.

Much love and God Bless,
