Update 2014:
Dude. It's been about 3 years since I wrote this & looking back on this blog makes me realize how much I've changed.
Crazy.
Ok, so for my first blog, I have been required to write about myself. This will be fun! Where to start……..
1.) I am a happy person, mainly because I have a Father who loves me.
2.) My favorite color is: ORANGE, and for all of my fellow racers, you will all find out just how much it actually is my favorite color. I mean check it, it is number 2 on my list.
3.) I love, love, love, peanut M&M's.
4.) God gave me a heart for people.
5.) My favorite holiday, aside from Christmas, is Halloween. Come on, getting to dress up and eat as much candy as you want, now that is a good day.
6.) I love scary movies, hence my favorite holiday being Halloween. As I have gotten older, I have found that I can't watch them as much. I am not really sure why that it is, but it is. I still love them!
7.) I love my family and friends. God has blessed me greatly in that area of my life. Being away from them can and will be hard at times but it's like the bible says "I tell you the truth", Jesus said to them, " no one who has left home or wife or brothers or parents or children for the sake of the kingdom of God will fail to receive many times as much in this age and to come, eternal life".- Luke 18:28-30.
8.) I love music!! Anything and everything. With windows rolled down and belting it, that's me.
9.) I love to read. Yes, I am a nerd in that sense.
10.) As I have gotten older, I have learned that it is perfectly acceptable to have opinions and that what I do have to say matters. (Sounds like a politcal commercial).
11.) I love daisies. Can you guess which color is my favorite?
12.) My favorite drink from starbucks ( I practically live here) is an Iced Mocha with skim milk, no whip or a hot peppermint mocha. MMMMMmmm….
13.) For the last two years, I have lived with two of the most amazing best friends a girl could ask for. You guys know who you are:)
14.) I can't lie to save my life and the few times that I have attempted to lie, I immediately felt guilty and told the truth. So, everyone, don't lie. It's stupid.
15.) This will be my last one: I want to travel. God has given me a desire to the see the world up, close, and personal, to see the beauty in and of this world, everything created by His gentle touch. To see the Beauty in poverty, pain, broken families, hurt, and humiliation, because through all of these things, His light always shines through and that is Beautiful. I am so excited about this adventure.
This has been fun! I hope that you gain some sort of understanding of who I am from this:) It all may seem a bit "general" but just think of it as a sneak peek into my life.
