This week we had the pleasure of working along side The Crossing Church based out of Illinois! It was so much fun to meet new people and add extra hearts into our mission!
We worked side by side to build a house for a family that is a beneficiary from Pan de Vida. We are now professionals at making assembly lines and hauling bricks,rocks,sand, and cement. This week was one of the hardest physically and emotionally so far, but the Crossing was a breath of fresh air.
We were also able to help point them in the right direction, literally. I’m not sure if we feel like visitors after talking with them about where to go, the things to do and see, and how to breathe 10,000 feet above sea level ( lol how are we used to this ?? )
We didn’t finish the house, but we made huge leaps for the family.
The Crossing held an amazing VBS.
TOGETHER WE HAD A FANTASTIC WEDNESDAY PROGRAM.
It’s always a delight to see how God uses people from all over who answer His calling of “Who will I send?” And we all said “Here am I Lord, send me!!!”
This was the best way to serve in our last full week in Pan de Vida!
