Something I’ve learned over the past few months, a huge lesson honestly, is how important it is to BE the gospel. Yes, it’s wonderful to share the gospel. I love sharing the gospel. However, it is just as important to BE the gospel, in my opinion. It is important to be obedient when the Lord sends you somewhere. Because someone, somewhere prayed for help. Someone, somewhere prayed for God to send them someone to do the hard work. Someone, somewhere prayed for extra help for their ministry. When we go do manual labor, organize closest, or whatever it may be, we are still being the gospel. We are an answered prayer. It’s a breath of fresh air in tired lungs. It’s a revival of faith in a situation that is losing faith. It’s a believer growing stronger and stronger in confidentiality approaching the throne of Grace. It’s so powerful to BE the gospel- to do everything we do, as if we are doing it unto the Lord.
