- Are you sure? Did God really tell you that? For three months? What are you going to do about your job? How will you be able to afford it? Are you sure?
These are all questions I have been asked since I went public about joining The World Race. To answer the questions, yes I am sure. Two years ago, the Lord put this in my heart, and for two years I ran. For two years, I hid from God. For two years, I check the World Race website, and I found every excuse as to why I could not go. For two years, the Lord remained so so good to me. Two years later, I came out of hiding. Two years later, I accepted the call. Two years later, yes, I am sure. Two years later, I have peace in accepting the calling.
“And let the peace of Christ rule in your hearts, to which indeed you were called in one body; and be thankful.” Colossians 3:15
- I do not have all of the answers. What I do have however, is faith that God is going to keep me safe, provide spiritually and financially, and radically change the lives of others and my life. I am called to walk a path, but God is only revealing the path step by step.
“Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, and the evidence of things not seen” Hebrews 11:1
- I have faith that the Lord will bring me through what He brought me to. I have faith that the Lord called me here. I have faith that whatever happens, God is still good.
“Go therefore making disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, Son and Holy Spirit” Matthew 28:19
